Dr. Williams graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Rhodes College, where he studied concert performing piano.  Following, he graduated from the University of Tennessee, College of Medicine and completed a five year residency in general and trauma surgery at the University of Missouri - Kansas City, where he was chief resident of surgery. After Dr. Williams became board certified in general surgery he complete his plastic surgery training at the prestigious institute for Plastic Surgery of Southern Illinois University. He has been board certified in Plastic Surgery since 1999 and was recertified in 2009.  Dr. Williams also participates in the maintenance of board certification program for the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).

Dr. Williams has extensive experience in breast surgery, both cosmetic and reconstructive.  He has presented at national conferences and been featured in numerous print articles.   Dr. Williams is skilled in the latest techniques for breast surgery and continually enhances his knowledge base in plastic surgery.   He lives in Dalton, Georgia with his wife and two children.
